We have two cabins, of similar size, and both have a nice view of the large, tranquil pond pictured on the home page.  Both cabins have fully-furnished kitchens (full-size refrigerators and 4-burner stovetops) and bathrooms with flush toilets and stall showers.  Each cabin can sleep 4 people, in a double bed and two twin beds.  Cabin #1 has two bedrooms.  Cabin #2 has all three beds in a large, "bunkhouse" style bedroom.  Click on the pictures above for a look at the floor plan of each cabin.  Both cabins have an efficient, clean, odorless, completely vented propane heating system that will keep you warm and cozy in the winter.  In the summer, the many nearby trees cool the cabins naturally.  Feel free to bring an electric fan if you wish.

In recent years, both cabins were remodeled and redecorated.  The exteriors were painted khaki tan and hunter green, and the interiors were painted pale yellow with khaki tan and hunter green accents.  Both cabins have a table and four chairs, and an overstuffed chair or two.  We provide you with fresh towels and linens, as well as dishes, glasses, silverware, pots & pans, and a coffee maker.  There is a charcoal grill for each cabin - you need to bring your own charcoal if you want to use a grill.  Beside that, all you need to bring is your clothing and your food, and what ever outdoor gear you need.  We think they have a comfortable feel and a "mini-lodge" look.  There is a fire pit adjacent to Cabin #2 overlooking the pond, that both cabins share.  We supply the firewood for free.  If you have any other questions, please email or call us (231)723-9003.  Please call between 9:00am and 11:00pm ET.  We like to sleep!

RATES: We have a two-night minimum for any stay, all year.  Our year-round two-night rates, per cabin, including 6% Michigan Use Tax, are: 1-2 people, $127.20; 3 people, $159.00; and 4 people, $190.80.  We require a deposit equal to your two-night minimum.  Deposits can be made with a Visa or MasterCard over the phone, or by personal check, mailed at least a month in advance.  Please call us to make your reservation and deposit arrangements (231-723-9003).   We think our rates are quite reasonable, so we do not offer any discounts for extended stays. 

We accept MasterCard, Visa, personal checks or cash for final payment.  Cancellation policy: Notify us by 6:00pm three days prior to your arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee, which is equal your deposit.

No indoor smoking keeps the cabins clean and fresh-smelling for all our guests. 

Housebroken pets are welcome.  No extra charge for pets, we just ask that you clean up after them.
